Time to Say Goodbye

It’s been a good run, but, with a heavy heart, it’s time for the old codgers to say goodbye. We hope you enjoyed listening to Camp Codger as much as we did creating and publishing these last 72 episodes. In an epilogue episode, Gary explains how we came to this difficult decision. Hello Gary,

It’s been great hearing you opine on various topics. Agree, you may be retired but still in the game….that is so YOU, forever doing something technical. Hope you find another project to keep your mind busy. All the best!

I am sure going to miss those opening moments of Hello Mother, Hello Father, followed by Hello Everybody, I’m Gary Ebersole, Richard Kipling Here, and I’m Randy Shultz. Without fail, those greetings put me in a great state of mind, blood pressure lowered, ready for another engaging session with you guys. I understand completely why it’s time to say goodbye, but I will hold out hope that some Camper out there has a brilliant idea–or maybe an endowment–that can bring you back. Meantime, take care, keep passing on wisdom, and thanks for giving an extra kick to Wednesday.

No!!!!! Please say you’re joking! I can’t tell you how much I will miss you guys. Your warmth, humor, and sage advice have made this simply a terrific podcast. Thanks for your hard work and dedication to your audience. We love you and wish you all the best.

Thank you for your dedication and the wonderful episodes. There was always something comforting abut the content and the souls that delivered it.
Sadly, I think that many seniors are not tech savvy. I hope someone will have a brilliant idea on the next steps… this a real loss for everyone! Thanks for the opportunity to hear your wisdom, humor and love!

Onward and upward, Codgers! It was a good run. I’ll never forget the little ditty about what to check for before you leave the house, and have passed it on to many people of our advanced age. All the best!

I enjoyed your vintage/down memory lane episodes the best. It does take time (years) to get a following. I’m disappointed Camp Codger won’t be continued, but you have definitely created a legacy of important memories, thoughts, and advice, that will be helpful for time immemorial, especially for your family.
